Bollywood Inspired Makeup

Exotic, dazzling, and bold. Bolloywood films can be a cinematic spectacle unlike any other. The often lavish productions host musical numbers with large-scale dance sequences and amazing scores. Inspired by these incredible films, including one or our favorites Bride and Prejudice, we created a dramatic Bollywood-inspired makeup look.

Step 1) Take a piece of scotch tape and place it along your temple from the end of your eyebrow to the outer corner of your eye. *This will create the perfect, sharp winged look.

Step 2) Apply a black eyeshadow from the center of your eye lid to the outer corner, and up into the crease creating a C shape.

Step 3) Blend together a red and bright pink shadow and apply to the crease, starting from the inner to outer corner of the eye. Blend with black shadow to create a layered look.

Step 4) Apply dark green shadow to the remaining exposed eyelid and along the bottom lashes line.

Step 5) Using a shimmery yellow shadow, line the inner corner of the eye to make the look pop. We used BH cosmetics palette for all the eyeshadow.

Step 6) Use black liquid eyeliner to create a thin line along the upper lash line. Next, apply the liquid liner to the bottom lash line, creating a sharp line on the outer corner. We used Stilla Stay All Day Waterproof liquid liner.

Step 7) Apply false eyelashes and small craft jewels to complete the dramatic look. We used Make Up For Ever false lashes.
