A Night Out Makeup Look

28 Jul

With dark eyeshadow being a popular choice for a night out, we’ve decided to play off the smoky eye look by highlighting it with pops of color in this fun, vibrant look. Able to accentuate any outfit, from jeans and a t-shirt to a little black dress, this look is versatile and seductive, and a sure way to catch attention even in low-lit settings.

Follow these easy steps to accomplish this look:

Step One: Apply an eyeshadow primer, like Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Next, use an eyeshadow brush and dust on a shimmery golden eyeshadow, from lash line to eyebrow. We love Blunt by Urban Decay.

Step Two: Brush on pink eyeshadow from the inner corner of your eye to the middle of your lid, and then brush purple shadow along your crease, winging it past the outer corner of your eye. We love Christian Dior’s 5-Colour Eyeshadow – Extase Pinks 804 and Urban Decay’s Asphyxia.

Step Three: Starting in the middle of your lid, brush on black eyeshadow. You can use a piece of paper or tape on the outer corner of your eye as a guiding line, pointing the wing. We used the black shadow from the Dior palette mentioned in step two.

Step Four: Line your lower lash line in turquoise eyeliner like Make Up For Ever’s Blue With Green Highlights 12L.

Step Five: Brush on the same pink eyeshadow from step two on the inner corner of your eye and into the turquoise liner.

Step Six: Line false eyelashes with a thin line of glue and press firmly onto your lash line. Use a Q-Tip to adjust them as close to your lashes as possible. We love Make Up For Ever’s 22 Gianna.
