The skin of the cucumber is rough and hard and is full of fiber and minerals. A cucumber a day can help to reduce high blood pressure, clear breakouts, and keep your body healthy and strong. There are many ways to use cucumbers to your benefit even for everyday situations, and here are just a few.

To prevent pimples and black heads…

Take grated cucumber and place all over the face and neck for about 15 to 20 minutes, rinse with cold water. The skin absorbs the water from the cucumber as well as vitamins and minerals necessary for healthy skin. If used regularly, this method can help prevent breakouts and dryness.

To remove cellulite before a trip to the beach…

Take a few slices of cucumber and rub them on your problem areas for a few minutes to reduce cellulite. The photochemical of cucumbers cause the collagen in your skin to tighten and firm up the outer layer.

Stress can be a major factor in health problems, wrinkles, breakouts and more. To help reduce stress cut up an entire cucumber and place it in a pot of boiling water.
