Achieve the Fall Makeup Look

17 Nov

Fall is an amazing season, and the time to celebrate the coming of winter. With the colors changing from lush greens to subtle browns and yellows, the fall season promotes more neutral colors in makeup. Our beauty experts have come together to introduce another fall makeup look, one specifically for evening and late night events.

This makeup look can be worn for romantic dinners, cocktail parties, or anytime you need to feel glamorous. Wear it with a glittering gown and a chic updo hairstyle or with your favorite little black dress and loose waves framing your face. Either way, this evening fall makeup look will turn you into a smoldering siren.

Playing off this season’s hottest colors, earth tones and deep purples, we’ve created a dazzling, plum-colored smoky eye look that adds sexy sophistication to evening attire. This look is fun and easy, just follow these steps!

1. Start with fresh, clean skin before apply this makeup look.

2. Prep your skin with a natural foundation matching your skin tone using a foundation brush for an even finish. Use a large powder brush to set your foundation with pressed powder, lightly dusting over your T-zone to mattify and conceal shine.

1. Dust a matte neutral-colored eyeshadow on your eyelids, using a large eyeshadow brush to blend color from lash line to eyebrow.

2. Highlight your brow bone with beige shimmer powder using a medium eyeshadow brush.

3. Apply violet eyeshadow to your eyelids with a medium eyeshadow brush.

4. Using a blending shadow brush, blend a deep mauve eyeshadow into the crease and outer edge of your eyelid making a C shape. To define your brows, use a brow shadow similar to the color of brow hair for a natural defined look. Apply using light stokes starting from the inside of the brow using an angled shadow brush.

1. Line your top and bottom lash line with matte black liquid eyeliner. To achieve a thin even line, apply with a small, angled eyeliner brush using small strokes.

2. To accent your eyelashes, apply black mascara to top and bottom lashes.

Cheeks– Apply tawny-colored blush with a blush brush to the apples of your cheeks and blend towards the hairline, and then downwards to soften the edges. Highlight the cheek bone using beige shimmer powder using an angled powder brush, to accent your cheeks.

Lips- Using a lip brush for precise application, apply glossy, nude-colored wet lip gloss. This adds texture, shine, and gives illusion of fuller lips.
